Thorndon Primary has been judged STRONG in 6 out of 7 areas!
We are delighted to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection at Thorndon Primary School. The school was inspected by Ofsted on 20th January 2026 and was judged to be Strong in 6 out of the 7 areas of inspection:
- Attendance and Behaviour (Strong)
- Curriculum and teaching (Strong)
- Early Years (Strong)
- Inclusion (Strong)
- Leadership and governance (Strong)
- Personal development and wellbeing (Strong)
We were also judged to be 'Expected' for Achievement.
We are very proud of everyone at our school and what we have achieved!
